How do I order private immunisations?

Vaccines can be ordered from pharmacy suppliers such as AAH or Alliance. Alternatively, you can give a private script to the patient to obtain the vaccine from the pharmacy just before their appointment and ask them to bring it to the practice for their appointment.

Vaccines you may want to offer

There are several private vaccines you can order and offer to your patients. These include:

Vaccinations

Hepatitis

Chickenpox

HPV

Meningitis

Shingles

Diphtheria, tetanus and polio

Ordering vaccinations

AAH is the UK’s leading distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products.

You will need to set up and register an account with them to be able to order vaccinations.

Ensure you store any vaccinations in your clinic properly, most will require refrigeration. Regularly check your stock of vaccines to ensure none are out of date.

What's it like

“We don’t allow patients to book an immunisation appointment with less than 48 hours' notice. When an immunisation appointment has been booked, we check our stock for vaccines and if we don’t have it in stock, we order it in time for the appointment.”
