Yes, you do need a health and safety poster. It is a requirement of the CQC and you will get a black mark from the CQC if they can’t see one on display when they inspect your practice.

It is law that if you employee anyone you must display the health and safety poster or provide each worker with a copy of the leaflet.

The Health and Safety Executive website has a range of posters and leaflets which you can purchase and download to use in your practice.
The posters come in A2 or A3 size and can be purchased from their website and will be sent to you in the post. The leaflets are available as a free download and should be given to each member of staff.
