Typeform

Before we signed up to typeform, we were using paper questionnaires to gain feedback from our patients.

This wasn’t very effective as it involved asking the patients to sit in the waiting room and fill out a questionnaire before they left the clinic.

A member of the admin team would then need to type out their responses into a spreadsheet where the results were stored. We weren’t getting many responses back, so we needed another solution.

We discovered typeform from a recommendation of another private practice. We did some of our own research and discovered that the ease of use and reporting features it provided aligned with what we were looking for.

We use typeform for patient feedback and in multiple places on our website. We have embedded typeform on website pages and added them to buttons.

One area of our website where typeform works well is on our immunisation booking page.

We ask patients to define their membership status with us, tell us the age of the patient needing a vaccine and ask them to choose the vaccine they need from a list of ones we offer.

When patients make these selections, they are presented with the overall cost of their appointment (including the vaccination price) and are presented with the booking page for the type of appointment they need.

This not only makes it simple for the patient to book the correct appointment, but also makes it clear to our admin team which vaccines need to be purchased and reduces the number of incorrect appointment types being booked.

Typeform has saved our admin team time and resources. The laborious process of manually inputting patient feedback has gone, being replaced by dynamic reports which can be easily accessed and shared with the team.

When our clinicians have appraisals or the CQC conducts an inspection, providing patient feedback is simple and quick.

Typeform has also allowed us to understand ways we are working which may need some improvement and make these changes for the benefit of our patients.

These may be simple changes to adding information on parking to the website or larger changes such as making improvements to the waiting room.

Absolutely. Typeform has hugely improved the way we collect information and data from our patients.

As a private general practice, the service and care we give our patients is our main priority, so understanding how well we are doing that is vital.

Any negative feedback is taken on board and addressed, and positive feedback is celebrated and shared with the team.

We are also learning from our patients, discovering what services they would like to see and where possible, adding them to our offering as another revenue stream.
